Products description
This trilobite from the German Devonian is a beautiful and inflated preserved specimen of the species Morocops (Lahnops) steinmeyeri. The Trilobite itself is about 28 mm wide.
In Basse & Müller, 2016 was this species esablishced still under the Genus Barrandeops. However Barrandeops sensu McKellar & Chatterton, 2009 is a junior synonym of Morocops, Basse 2006.
In the Phacopid paper of Viersen, Holland & Koppka 2017 is the genus Barrandeops officially revised with supportive review commendation provided by Brian Chatterton and Raimund Feist.
