The rostrum of this Cretaceous sawing ray is of course particularly prominent. But also the shape of the Body is esthetically elegant. Libanopristis is a real fossil of character from the Cretaceous age of the Lebanon. This fossil offers an excellent level of detail. The preservation of the soft body is really remarkable. The individual muscle structures can be recognized in the body.
