Hemisaurida hakelensis Goody,1969 & Davichthys garneri Forey, 1973

On this Cretaceous limestone plate  from Hakel are two fossil fish species.
The larger fish belongs to the species Hemisaurida hakelensis, the second specimen belongs to the species Davichthys garneri.
The fish fossils themselves measure around 35 & 29 mm in length.
It is a nice and decorative plate that has no deliberately no restoration.

Age: Lower upper Cretaceous, Cenomanian,  Hakel Formation   (about 100 Ma)
