This is a excellent trilobite of the relative rare species Reedops bronni. The completely enrolled trilobite offers a very detailed preservation and shows nicely on the matrix. The naturally shaped matrix shows well the lithological features of the Kohlihapeltis couche at the Atchana site. The Trilobite species Reedops bronni shows relative often erosion of the carapace. Not so on this trilobite. The thickens of the shell is mush lower than on Reedops pembertoni, for example. The most prominent species feature of Reedops bronni are the reduced, small eyes. | |||
