Here is an outstanding trilobite of the genus Harpides from the Fezouata shale of Morocco. This specimen offers a fantastic level of detail. It presents itself prone and centered on a beautiful matrix. In addition, the negative has been preserved as well. The counter impressively documented the fantastic find situation. Its nearly a one (hammer) hit wonder. The lower part of the Thorax even shows the Digestivtrakt preserved. The positive side of the matrix measures about 150 x 190 mm and shows the natural cleaving on all four sides. This trilobite is an absolute showpiece what is just beautiful from all sides. | |||
