Here is a large fossil lobster of the species Pseudostacus hakelensis on a beautiful plate together with many fossil fish. The Pseudostacus hakelensis measures approx. 74 mm without antennas, as it is on the plate. If stretched out, it would be 110 mm long.Note the asymmetrically formed pincers of Pseudostacus hakelensis. The left scissors are aperies tweezers like with long scissor fingers. The right Claw is significantly shorter, stronger and mush thinker. The fossil fish are likely to be mostly Hakeliosomus hakelensis (DAVIS, 1887). One specimen is to be assigned to the genus Armigatus brevissimus (BLAINVILLE, 1818).This piece is an extremely decorative and interesting show piece.
