Here is a good specimen of a Coltraneia oufatenesis from the lower Devonian of Morokko. The most dominant feature of this trilobite species are the extremely enlarged compound eyes. The species Coltraneia oufatenesis is named by the Locus Typicus, the Jebel Oufaten in the Maider Basin. | |||
