Products description


This trilobite is a Scabriscutellum from Morocco with a interesting pathology on the pygidium.
 On the right side of the tail shield are three ribs melted together. But the shape of the tail is still intact. The position and the shape if the injury could be caused by a bite mark thru predation.

Jbel Oufaten, Maider Reg. , Morocco 
Size:about 43 mm long
Age:Lower Devon, upper Emsian (about 400 mill. y.o.)
