Products description

This is a rare Morocco Trilobite of the genus Platyscutellum from  Mharech.
The Trilobite shows a high affinity to the Czech Trilobite species Platyscutellum formosum (BARRANDE, 1846). Three pleural tips on the left body flank, in the region of a glue line are cast from its negative.  This  Platyscutellum does offer some nice and fine details, especially the Pygidium is very nice preserved. Perfectly prone would this trilobite be about 44 mm long.very nice preserved.
