Here is a nice and interesting Trilobite Plate from the lower Cambrian of California. Centred on this plate is a Cephalon of Bristolia bristolensis together the a rare but incomplete Olenellus. Its most likely a Olenellus nevadensis (Walcott, 1910). The Glabella is remarkably small but the genal spines are quite strong developed. The Bristolia cephalon is about 58 mm wide and the Olenellus nevadensis is about 46 mm wide. | |||
