Products description

Hier is a very rare armored fish fossil of the genus Drepanaspis. The genus Drepanaspis is a primitive jawless fish from early Devonian strata of Europe. This fossil shows a massive ammor plate from the head section. Drepanaspis is well known from the Bundenbach lagerstätte. And Drepanaspis gemuendenensis from Bundebbach is known in complete articulated specimen’s. Howerver this  Drepanaspis fossil  from the Klerf  Formation offers  a mush more detailed preservation.  And it is not small at all, the compete Agnatha fish would have been easily 500 mm long.
