This "Morocco Trilobite" of the genus Hypsipariops shows some affinity to Pedinopariops (Hypsipariops) vagabundus Struve, 1990 . But there are beside its size servile differences to the type species. The granulation of its glabella apers to be more fine and dense. Also the genal field and the eye lobes are lees prominent developed. Also the rachis of the pygidium seems to be more tip pointed and there are lees (visible) plaural ridges on the tail. This is not necessary a species feature because it is likely caused due the reduced size compared to the holotype of Hypsipariops vagabundus. This trilobite would be about 55 mm long, if completely prone. | |||
