Products description
This surface find represents a cephalaspid head shield, which likely belongs to the species Zenaspis podolica. It is an affordable specimen of a fossilized armored fish head from the Lower Devonian of Ukraine. Additional parts of the cephalon can may still be prepared further. However, the unique charm of this piece lies in the fact that it is a natural preparation. The fossil was exposed through weathering and erosion.
