Products description

Here is a very interesting Trilobite piece with large Paralejurus elayounensis together with two Reedops pembertoni. The second Reedops pembertoni is hidden on the backside but it shows an interesting embedding.  This kind of embedding is most likely to interpreted as a result of moulting.
The two trilobites on the front side  are running with the head out f the piece of the  concretionary layer into the marl. So that the carapace shows some erosion at this region.

The large Paralejurus elayounensis offers an fascinating pathological malformation at the 6th pleural Segment. This pleural segment seems to be an healed injury where the segments tip where spited in half. The 7th segment seems also to be shorted.
This piece is might not an show case fossil but it has a lot of a story to tell.
