Here is a very detaild specien of a adult Dastilbe elongatus. Adult specimens are relative rare in the Crato formation. One theory says that this site provides good conditions for the brood of Dastilbe. So maybe the Adult specimens of Dastilbe elongatus just came here in the breeding season.
This fish is about 141 mm long.
