Here is a amazing Aspidorhynchus from Solnhofen. The fossils fish shows very fine preserved details and a remarkable colour. All the fins are in the correct position. The fossil is very rich an nice details. For example the digestive tract is easily visible.. The Fish is NOT insert in the plate. It is in its original plate that if stabilized from the backside with a other plate so that it was possible to preparate this beautiful side of the fish. What was more work but the result shows that it was absolutely reasonable. The plate was glued, the glue lines are carefully colourised . The fish is in total about 446 mm long.
