A rare and large crinoid from the famous Solenhofen limestone.
This species was like the small and common Saccocoma a free floating from of a Crinoids Is was not attached to a hard ground. This is the reason why it can be found sometimes  in the lagoons of Solnhofen.
The Specimen is  about 85  mm long. This piece is from an old colection.
