Here is a wonderful specimen of a rare Belemnite from the lithographic limestone of Solnhofen. The rostrum is raising out of the plate and show a very nice contrast to the colourful dendrites. On the lower end is a small section of the fossil casted from its internal mould. The fossil self is about 80 mm long, the plate is unbroken.
