Here are the last steps of a Mecochirus’s life in Solnhofen.
This superb long arm shrimp shows the ventral body side, all 10 legs are visible what very uncommen for this species is.  We have here also a short but very clear track on plate. This remarkable fossil plate is able to tell us a about 150 million years old story.
