Here is a beautiful heteromorph ammonite double from South Dakota. Bith ammonites are fully preserved till the end hook of the living chamber . The second ammonites seems the be re glued or aditionaly mounted to the matrix. The matrix contains servile other incomplete or partial preserved fossils. The concretion measures on the basement about 120 x 95 mm. Complete specimen of a heteromorph Ammonite with nice preserved hook on the end of the living chamber. |
