Here is a rare Gerastos granulosus from the trilobite fields in Gees, Germany. There where some theories that this species could be a juvenile from of Gerastos cuvieri because Gerastos granulosus was mostly only been found in small specimens at the classical site of Gees. But it seems to be two independent species. There are from both varaiations of Gerastos large and small specimens that shows clearly the difference between both species. | |||
