| Here is a a very rich piece of Graptolite shale from the Silurian Birckhill Shales of Scotland. On this plate are a lot of different Graptolites to find. Graptolites are indicators for deep water sediments so they are more common in black shale fazes. The Silurian Birkhill Shale’s are known fort her very diverse Graptilite fauna. These Graptolite shales offer a very good preservation and contrast as well. The here offered pieces contain often servile different species. | |||
