Products description
Here is a pathological specimen of a Palaeastacus fuciformis pole with partial regenerated pincers. This Lobster like crab lost both Claws during a accident or more likely during a predator attack. However the specimen survived this injury for a while because the chelipeds are already in an early stage of regeneration. Beside this very uncommon patology shows the fossil also a exquisite preservation and a rich colour and contrast as well. The crustacean is 36 mm long without the antennas if it would be prone.
