Here is a trilobite rarity from the famous Starfish Bed’s of Girvan in Scottland. Pseudosphaerexochus octolobatus is one of the most rare trilobites from the Ashgill of Girvan and this specimen shows a nice preservation and nearly no deformations. Larger trilobites like this are like to have digenetic deformations in the Starfish Beds so that this trilobite is lucky to have only minor ones in at the right side of the cephalon. | |||
