| Here is a quite large fossil squid of the species Plesioteuthis prisca frin the lithographic limestone of Eichstätt. The Body shows a fantastic preservation of the muscle fibbers, the head shows a for this species typical preservation. The tentacles are fairly visible. The fossil itself is about 260 mm mm long. | |||
