Here is a rarely nice branch of the jurassic Cycad species Zamites feneonis. The fossil was found at the classical lithographical limestone site of Brunn near Solnhofen. This specimen does show well that Zamites was capable to remove the front end of a branch The fossil it self is about 164 mm long
