Here is a nice Ammonite of the species Discoscaphites gulosus from South Dakota. In the year 1834 war this species originally described as a subspecies of Discoscaphites conradi its former name was „Ammonites Conradi var. (A) gulosus”. Today this ammonite is seen as an independent species. |
