Here is a interesting specimen of a rare Dicranurus hamatus from Oklahoma. This trilobite does show servile not healed injuries on the left body side. Two pleural segments are at the rachis broken but still almost in situ, the left librigena seems to be completely gone. The image of the disarticulation may sugest that this Dicranurus was maybe “cracked” by some king of predator. The trilobie is also about 90° along the body axis again the sedimentation embedded. The missing librigena shape is carved in the matrix. | |||
