| Here is a unusual trilobite with a unsuaul finding situation, with positive and negative side. Normally trilobites in calcite shell preservation do not have a negative. This trilobites seems to fit mostly to the genus Greenops. Especially the eye lens pattern is distinctly different to Hollardops, that would be also very similar in the general habitus. The Preservation is good and detailed, the trilobite does shows some minor clip offs of the shell but it was not restored or restored in any way. | |||
