Here is a quite rare Hamatolenus draensis from the Cephalopyge notabilis zone of Tahoucht. The species Hamatolenus draensis is the smallest Hamatolenus species that is known from Morocco. Although the cephalon of this specimen is only 12 mm wide it is anyway a adoult specimen. Geyer provided 12 – 16 mm in his work from 1990. The trilobites shows a good and detailed preservation, the glue lines show the typical bright cement that is used in Tahoucht. Most times the local collectors glue the trilobite direct in the field after finding them. | |||
