Products description
Here is a rare Magila latimana from the classical site of Zandt. Magila latimana does have only a very thin carapace that is in most cases very bleach preserved. The most finds of a Magila latimana with rich contrast like this piece are been found at the quarry of Zandt. The fossil is also nicely centred on a attractive plate with the typical Zandt grain patterns. It is unlikely to obtain any new finds from the Zandt Quarry today.
The fossil is about 44 mm long.
