Here is a large and super nice preserved ammonite of the species Kepplerites gowerianus from the Porta Westfalica. The Kepplerites is preserved down to the juvenile thread and the spines are preserved as well. The small spines do brack often on Kepplerites gowerianus but this is not the case on this wonderful ammonite.
