This fossil Solnhofen Shrimp belongs to the species Franconipeneaus meyeri. The species Franconipeneaus meyeri was in the past assigned to the genus Antrimpos so that this shrimp is also knows under the synonym Antrimpos meyeri. The fossils offers a good preservation and a very nice colour. The long antenna is well visible, the fossil is nicely centred on the plate. This fossil shrimp itself is without the antenna about 83 mm long.
