Products description
Here is a large fossil fish of the species Allothrissops salmoneus from Eichstätt. The fossil fish offers a great colour and a quite good preservation. Along the glued section in the middle of the fish are some parts casted from the negative side. We still have here mainly the original fossil substance preserved but some splinters got lost in the quarry during the splitting of the fossil. Here is nothing colorized so that the missing parts are still visible in the close up.
The Allothrissops it self is about 230 mm long. |
