Products description

On this displayable Solnhofen plate are two fossil crinoids of the species Saccocoma tenella.
Both crinoids offer a good preservation and a remarkable size for its species.
Saccocoma tenella is one of the most common crinoids that is been found in complete articulated specimens. Saccocoma tenella is also the most frequent fossil from the litrograpical limestone of Solnhofen.
It is like every time and every place, nice specimens are relative rare to find.


The both crinoids do have a diameter of about 37 & 40 mm.
