This is a relative rare fossil snail of the species Spinigera spinosa from Eichstätt. With about 15 mm in the length is this Spinigera a respectibile size for this snail species. Fossil snails are extremely rare in the lithographical Solnhofen limestone but Spinigera spinosa is the most common one. Sometines they can be found in some layers a little bid more common. | |||
