This piece shows a very rare Aglaspidis of the species Beckwithia typa from Weeks Formation of Utah. The Aglaspidida are a a group of horseshoe crab-like arthropods. In higer systematic they are currently closer related to the Trilobites. This specimen shows a well defined cephalon, a fairly preserved thorax. The Tail spine is well preserved. This fossil is a very good study piece of this rare fossil group and it comes with both sides. | |||
