This is an extraordinarily trilobite plate from the Devonian of Morocco. On this special plate is a complete Dicranurus monstrosus together with three trilobites of the species Reedops pembertoni. The Dicranurus monstrosus is nicely articulated and shows both cheeks and is about 42 mm long. The entire trilobite party is accompanied by a quite large Orthocone. The Orthocone makes it hard for us to take photographs but it belongs on the plate like every of the trilobites do. None of the fossils where artificial mounted on the matrix, every fossils belongs exactly the way it is in the stone. All fossils are free of any restorations or reconstructions. This piece is a absolute unique and authentic piece from the Devonian of Morocco. | |||
