This fossil cockroach of the species Lithoblatta lithophila from the lithographical "Solnhofen - Limestone" offers a extremely rich preservation. The fossil insect is shown from the ventral body side. This fossil let see the legs and the fine net structures of the wings, even the segmentation of the body is well visible.
The Lithoblatta itself is about 21 mm long.
