| This nice eifel trilobite belongs to the species Geesops schlotheimi The Trilobite was found at the classical site of the Pelm-Salmer Weg near gees. This fossil locality is since 1984 strictly protected so that there are no new find possible. Today is this classical paleontological site a Protected area, protected is here mainly the vegetation. But also the collecting of fossils is explicit prohibit on the Trilobite fields near Gees. | |||
