| Here is a rare trilobite of genus Septimopeltis from the middle devonian of Morocco. The preparation of this trilobite was possible without any use of air - braise - techniques so that this fossil offers a outstanding detail level of the surface details of the carapace. This detailed preservation is also on moroccan trilobites rarely possible to obtain. Of course is this trilobite all natural, that means free of any kind of restorations , reconstruction or colourations. The main horizon for Septimopeltis is some meter above the Ceratarges - Couche in the profil of the Jebel Zireg in the southern rim of the Maider - Basin. | |||
