| Here is a Eifel Trilobite of the species Cornuproetus cornutus from the classical site of the Pelm-Salmer Weg near Gees. The Trilobites is in last quarter strongly disarticulated but it ofers anyway a good preservation. It is a interesting question what can course such a unusual distortion on Trilobite. Cornuproetus cornutus is the type species for the genus Cornuproetus abd the Pelm Salmer Weg near Gees is the locus typicus of the species. | |||
