Here is a fossil beetle from the lithographic limestone of Eichstätt.
The fossil beetle shows the typical longitudinal striation of the elytra for Anisorhynchus lapideus.  
Also its shape and size fits for the species Anisorhynchus lapideus.
The fossil insect itself is about 17 mm long.
Fossil beetles from solnhofen are difficult from the systimatical point of view. Often they are dificult to assoiate with a taxon.
