Here is a wonderful "Solnhofen Dragonfly" of the species Mesuropetala muensteri from Eichstätt.
The  dragonfly shows a picture book posing and articulation. All four wings, the head and body are exactly there where they should be. The dragonfly also presents itself nicely centerd on a beautiful polygonal plate with a adequate size. The dragonfly it self is about 109 mm wide.
This dragonfly is a absolute show piece for every collection..
