Here is a very detailed juvenile fisch of the species Aspidorhynchus acutirostris from the locality Painten near Solnhofen. About the last third of the Aspidorhynchus was bite off by a predator and is primary not preserved. But what is preserved shows a rerly nice detail level that is also in Painten not common. The fossil fish comes with both sides as a split pair. | |||
