Products description
This is a good example of the longarm shrip Mecochirus longimanatus from the lithographic limestone of Eichstätt. This Mecochirus longimanatus has a interesting feature to offer. It comes along with its death track. It is easy imaginable how the Mecochirus fled backwards in order to escape suffocation. The "Solnhofen - Limestone" is one of the rare fossil locality’s where tracks and the creature that made them fossilized together The fossil Mecochirus itself is about 180 mm long
