| This is a more rare fossil dacapod of the species  Magila latimana from the lithographic limestone of Eichstätt. This  Magila latimana offers a superb preservation regardless the partial substance loss on the lower chela.
For Magila latimana is a mainly digging life habit assumed. The carapace is except for the large chelipeds very thin and often poorly preserved. This magila show a quite exceptional preservation. The magila itself is about 49 mm long and nicely centered on the plate.
