| This is a rare "Eifel Trilobite" of the species Asteropyge comes from the vanished locality of the "Pelm-Salmer-Weg" near Gees. This Asteropyge comes shows nicely centerd on the matrix that has a good stand. Thru the trilobite runs a calcite fracture. Interesting is that the for Gees-Trilobite typical wood like striping comes in a steep angle the tectonical calcite line. Prone would the Asteropyge be about 34 mm long. | |||
