| This is an nice German Eifel Trilobite of the species Cyphaspis ceratophthalmus. The Trilobite offers a perfectly prone picture book posing and ist allmost comnpleate preserved. Both genal spines and the back spine are present. Also both light tower eyes are preserved. Only the back spine runs slightly out of the limestone concretion, like it does on most Eifel trilobites. This trilobite was also found in the good old days at the classical site of the “Pelm-Salmer Weg" near Gees. | |||
