This trilobite is a unusual Harpes from the Devonian of Morocco. This Harpes shows a more wide fringe that is also coarser ornamented than the classical moroccan “Bou Dip Type” Harpes. Although a slight affinity does this Haprpes differ anyway from the true Harpes perradiatus RICHTER R. 1943. On this point is it to mention that the Harpes that is pictured in the cladistic paper of Ebach and McNamara on (Fig.2, F) most likely also belongs to the “Bou Dip Type” Harpes”. Alsi this specimen shows few affinity to the holotype of Harpes perradiatus. | |||
